Among the several advantages for the use of silicone implants for, There are good transparency and translucency of the material, the possibility of maintaining the shiny effect (then 'wet') without the addition of further liquids or mixtures, ed, sometimes, I can be reused.

In order to shorten the application time, the prosthesis may also be colored pre under construction, with specific colors for the silicone platinum and finished subsequently with colors to alcohol

Bear costume for commercials on average

by on Jan.09, 2016, during Special Effects, Events

Immagine di una maschera da orso con pelo marrone scuro.

Nothing beautiful girls and languid winks this time, ma soil both by, who dusted off my soul a little’ furry.
To achieve some short films to be published later in the media (youtube) this time I was asked to create a mascot mask to transform the appearance of an actor in a tender teddy bear (taller than me), a little’ in the style of 'Masha and Bear'.
Since the character a human transfiguration Bear, then dress with jacket and pants, the work on which I had to focus was the creation of the mask, request with mobility mouth.

Despite the simplicity of the basic idea, the work was quite challenging and required different attention. After building the model in clay on the mold of the face, created the mold bivalve, I replied in two pieces with soft foam, to maintain the mobility of the mouth.

Maschera da orso in fase di realizzazione: maschera bianca senza pelo e colore.

Only then I realized that I was not the beginning of the game, because I had to cover with the synthetic fur, shape it and sew on the size of the head, cut and color, and finally apply a closing 'tear’ that would allow the necessary adjustments to the mask to fit any face.

So I started from the nose (whose tip I left deliberately discovery to create a more realistic effect) and proceeding gradually forehead, cheekbones, cheeks and chin, by cutting and pasting the fur fabric, because it fit the profile of the mask.

Then, with clippings of hair I realized even ears and tail.

Everything was glued as well as sewing with needle and thread, proving that sometimes to do the make-up are not just brushes.
At this point the mask was more like a dog to a bear… then it was necessary the intervention of the clipper and of different combs (I think I've broken at least three) to give a shape to the hair, and then to the mask.

To make it more credible I finished the job by painting with an airbrush, with acrylics, and I covered my nose, already colored black, with a thin silicone layer, which determines a natural shine..

Gabriela modella posa per ditoriale street fashion, makeup nude look

modella di agenzia di milano posa per editoriale di moda, stile street fashion

The thing I like most about my job.. it's my job! See how much able to change the face and the characteristic traits of a person with nuance and chiaroscuro (and sometimes also adding some piece :D) it amazes me every time, and fills me with satisfaction.
Gabriela, 17 years, Brazil and Italy for the first time, came under contract for a major agency in Milan, is in its infancy in the modeling career, but in a few months has already learned all the secrets that are to be part of this world: is friendly and helpful, but with a strong character, patient during the professional make-up and in front of the goal, is willing to brave the cold late autumn despite being accustomed to the climate and temperatures much milder.
The morning runs away fast, makeup required is a make up base “nude-look”, that I often use as a base for bridal makeup, due to its ability to highlight the best features of the face iluminando eyes and hiding minor imperfections.
The time to carry out the shooting on location, you can find here: NextDoorModel.com/yellow-border-line-grabriela-godoi and returns to the makeup.
The basis of the corrective makeup has remained unchanged, I proceed then giving a little’ to emphasize the eyes (con uno smokey eyes nero) and mouth (Already, however, colorful), to make it all a bit’ more glamorous and sensual.

This is the result..

Special effects for the realization of mask by Visitor

by on Nov.20, 2013, during Special Effects, Events

V Visitors (1984)

What would have happened in the world during the developmental period if the reptiles had had the better of the mammals ? The planet would probably be populated by a race of hominid more similar to that of the monkey lizard.. E’ what he wants us to believe the series V-Visitors, in which an alien race presents us with terrestrial human form and promises of peace.
As well as the present, however, in a friendly manner conceals double purpose (the desire to eat us!) also the appearance of the aliens is changeable: a mask hides what are their true appearance..

V-Visitors has been a cult series, that enchanted, impressed and frightened thousands of viewers, since his arrival in Italy on TV 1, in 1984.

I wanted to try to re-look made almost thirty years ago by the make-up of the series, with the same technology available at that time (plaster molds, latex masks).
That's how it came out!

Maschera in silicone da lucertola applicata al viso, Visitors (1984)

The realization of the makeup:
I started taking the imprint of the face of Julia (my model) using water and alginate.
Qui sotto la potete vedere paziente e per niente infastidita mentre aspetta il suo destino 😀

I filled the mark with chalk rapid, that helped me to develop the first of its positive face.
I reused after its footprint to create the false mask of human, that once torn, revealed the appearance of extraterrestrial.
I modeled on the positive plaster, are availing of plasticine, the huge mask Visitors, based upon the images found on the web.
This model was then sprayed with plaster dental, in order to make a good impression even the texture scales.
The mask is then Visitors been realized in liquid latex prevulcanized, for stratification, irrobustendola wherever appropriate, because once applied maintained the form.

Maschera tipo viso umano in silicone, appoggiata al calco

The application process was quite simple: once glued the mask from the face of alien Giulia, and finished the edges, I applied the color, verde e oro, to remember the scales of reptiles.
Everything was finished with a glossy powder to give shine and life to the Visitor.
I applied around the human mask, suitably cut, to give the idea that it had been torn away from her face.
In this case, the whole thing was fixed with bobby pins to the hair of Julia, previously collected, and covered with a wig with front tulle (attack film).

Anya è sul set con bodypainting da leopardo

Here we go again.. cats back to strike! Already, although in this case it is a leopard, is still a part of the family.. 🙂
For an event that was held Hobby Show 2013, in Milan in conjunction with Cartoomics 2013, I have realized and applied this prosthesis' face feline’ and subsequently colored by Flavio Bosco for the realization of this bodypainting.
The nose, applied with glue for prosthesis, adheres to the whole portion of the face covered, and being made of very soft material, it preserves the facial expressions.
E’ was fun to see the large number of people who, around the fair, Anya stopped, our model, to be immortalized in a photo a pose with a cat of this caliber!
